The 16th Edition of Garknit-X, an international trade show on Textile, Apparel machinery, Embroidery, Knitting Technology, Yarn, Fabrics and Accessories began in Eco Park in Kolkata from today. It is the three-day largest technology exhibition of East India participated by both Domestic and International machinery brands with showcasing their products to the visitors.

The fair is organised by Vardaan Events Pvt. Ltd. in associations with Apparel Talk, the fair drew a large number of manufacturers and visitors from this region. The exhibition was inaugurated by the ex-chairman of WBTIDC, Mr. Dinesh Bajaj in presence of industry leaders in the city.

Garknit-X Kolkata has been spearheading the technological revolution in the Eastern region of India. In its 16th edition, the show will be largest ever event organised in this region, bringing in the cutting edge technologies from all over the world. Kolkata has witnessed improvement in manufacturing and huge investment in factories. Many of the manufacturers, who had left the city due to the labour problem, are coming back to Kolkata.

The fair will exhibit Live Demo of Knitting, Sewing, Embroidery and Printing Machines, CAD-CAM, Fusing, Spreading, Laundry & Washing, Finishing, Testing Equipment, Leather Garment Machinery, Dyeing & Processing, Fabrics, Yarns, Dyes & Chemicals, Accessories & Trims.
