Huntsman Textile Effects has been named as the 2016 winner in the category of ‘Excellent Performance in Exports of Dyestuffs by a Large Scale Unit’ by the Dyestuff Manufacturers Association of India Awards (DMAI).
Additionally, the textile division also won the category for ‘Excellent Performance in Safety & Hazards Control by a Large Scale Unit’.
According to the company, the awards recognise the outstanding contribution of Huntsman Textile Effects in supporting environment, health and safety and sustainability for the textile industry.
The awards were presented by Ananth Kumar, union minister for chemicals & fertilisers, at the 66th Annual General Meeting of DMAI held at Mumbai.
Huntsman Textile Effects received the awards based on criteria such as innovation, creativity, development and quality.
Earlier, the company has won DMAI awards for ‘Pollution Control and Excellent Performance in Safety and Hazards’ and the ‘Highest Export and Excellence in Safety & Hazard’.
