Textile is the most focused industry this year in the Bengal Global Summit “Bengal Texpo 2016” to be held in Kolkata on January eight.

The two-day summit will showcase investment opportunities in textiles and clothing. West Bengal government is launching an Integrated Textile Development Project (ITDP) covering 13 textile parks around Kolkata.

Apart from assured land, the government will offer single window clearance, attractive incentives and infrastructure facilities. It is a great opportunity for local industry to take advantage of it. No state in the country has ever launched such an aggressive policy to develop the industry, organiser source claimed.
