The 30th SIGA began today in Palace Ground of Bengaluru, inaugurated by M. G. Balakrishna, President of the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry. This Autumn-Winter trade fair, organised annually by the South India Garment Association, will run for three days and serve as a key platform for apparel business networking and sourcing.
P. H. Rajpurohit, Director of the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry, attended as the Special Guest at the inauguration ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Anurag Singhla, President of SIGA, shared that 100 of exhibitors are showcasing their latest product lines to meet the upcoming season’s demand. The fair is expected to attract around 2,000 retailers, wholesalers, and agent distributors over the three days.
Rajesh Chavat highlighted the association’s initiatives to boost the business of state manufacturers, noting that most visitors are from South India, with participation from major apparel manufacturing hubs.
A committee member mentioned that the 30th SIGA event is projected to generate business worth approximately ₹150 crore.
