The 21st Garknit-X marked a milestone for the apparel and textile industry, showcasing the latest advancements in manufacturing technologies. Inaugurated by Sri Nirmal Saraf, President of the Calcutta Saree Dealers Association, the event highlighted cutting-edge machinery and innovations shaping the sector.

Organized by Mr. B. P. Mishra, in association with Mr. Pradip Kochar, Editor of Indian-Apparel, this year’s Garknit-X brought together a dynamic mix of innovation and tradition. Esteemed industry leaders such as Mr. Murari Parasrampuria, Mr. Sushil Golechha, and Mr. Mahendra Jain were among the notable attendees.

Participants experienced an impressive array of advanced textile machinery, including various type of multihead embroidery and double-sequence punching machines, rapier looms, jute printing machines, laser machines, as well as cutting-edge digital and screen printing technologies. For the first time, an Airjet Loom was featured, alongside a variety of sewing machines, CAD/CAM systems, accessories, and spare parts, catering to the diverse needs of the apparel & textile sector.

The event is attracting industry experts, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts. Garknit-X not only showcased groundbreaking advancements but also provided a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and fostering future innovation in the textile industry. This fair will continue till 22nd of December 2024.
