To serve as the exclusive provider for its athletic programme, Atlanta – Georgia Tech has announced an apparel deal with Adidas.
The agreement came after Georgia Tech decided to end its partnership with Russell Athletic when their contract expires in June.
The six-year arrangement runs through 2024 but financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Georgia Tech is now in line with other major universities in a market dominated by Nike, Under Armour and Adidas.
The brand known for its three stripes will serve as Georgia Tech’s exclusive supplier for athletics uniforms, apparel, footwear and accessories in 17 varsity sports programme, as well as providing additional marketing and branding opportunities.
