Chain garment retailing store, Fabindia has inaugurated its first new concept store — Fabindia Experience Centre in New Delhi recently. This is the first among 60 stores to be opened by the brand over the next few years. The store has paved the retailer’s way to foray into department store like concept, it said.

Currently, Fabindia operates more than 230 stores in India, many of which feature women’s wear, men’s wear, home furnishings, food and beauty.

The stores will be opened mostly in India’s micro markets, managing director of the company, William Bissell said.
