Festival of Lights Celebrated at ATDC

As the festival of lights is approaching, students of Apparel Training & Design Centre (ATDC) celebrated Diwali with much fervor and gaiety. ATDC- Faridabad organized an exhibition-cum-sale ‘Creative Hunt’ for two days at its campus.

Students from all streams displayed their creativity through beautifully and artistically designed diyas, gift envelopes, photo frames and candles. More than 100 students participated and put up their stalls. Vijay Jindal, MD, SPL Industries, a leading apparel export house graced the occasion as the chief guest.

“Creativity is a way of self-expression and we want each and every student – to bring out the model of their creative acumen,” Tarundeep Gill, principal of ATDC Faridabad said.

ATDC Gurgaon also hosted a rangoli, diya and best ethnic dress competition on the occasion of Diwali. Around 50 students participated in the competition and showcased their creativity.

“It was great to see the students enthusiastically participate in the competition. All the students were happy and celebrating Diwali to their fullest,” Shalini Sharma, principal of ATDC-Gurgaon said.

The exhibition benefitted the students, who wished to explore their creativity and gave a chance for parents and friends to appreciate and enjoy the work done by the students.
