1970s Inspired Line For Carven

CarvenParisian fashion designer Guillaume Henry has launched the final collection titled A Day in the Office for storied French fashion house Carven.

The designer, who is currently helming the popular French label Nina Ricci, has created a functional yet stylish pre-fall 2015 line before stepping down from his position as creative director at the ready-to-wear label.

Based on a warm palette of chocolate, navy, caramel, beige and mocha hues, the 1970’s-inspired range is adorned with prints of old television sets, vintage cassettes, stripes, checks and colour blocking patterns.

The collection includes polo shirts with silk twill inserts, asymmetrical crepe skirts, masculine style-inspired wool coats, high-waist flared culottes, cable knit cropped sweaters, button-down shirts and slit pencil skirts.
