Increase In Corpus Fund To Assist Powerloom Weavers

The powerloom weavers in Pandesara and Ved Road industrial areas in Surat will be now able to procure yarn raw material for the polyester fabric-at concessional rates with the increase in the corpus fund for country's first yarn banks in the Surat from Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 2 crore and bank guarantee reducing from 50 per cent to 25 per cent by the textile ministry.
