Bangladesh Likely To Slash RMG’s Corporate Tax

Bangladesh commerce minister, Tofail Ahmed said the government has decided in principle to lower corporate tax on the readymade garment (RMG) sector from the current rate of 35 per cent. Bangladesh Ends Safety Check Of RMG Factories

The Bangladesh Government has completed the inspection phase of its efforts to assess export-oriented ready-made garment (RMG) factories for structural, fire and electrical safety with emphasis now switching to remediation, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) has said in a release.
